DRAKEN
After many winters in Hawaii, California and Mexico Xanadu designed the Draken gun model for the big waves aficionados.
The bottom of the Draken has a vee from the nose to the tail with a double concave that starts in the middle of the board and fades out at the tail. This bottom design was made to help on the control of the surfboard going through the bumpy surf, and also helps the board to go rail to rail. The position and design of the concave gives very good drive through the turns with a very good stability.
The rocker of the Draken was designed to make it very easy to ride the board through turns like when surfing a shortboard, and also because the rocker – the outline and the foil are working together. As you turn on the Draken its slingshot forward with great control.
The thickness flow or foil of the Draken was designed together with the outline to make it easy to catch waves and give a great control of the board .
