STEP OFF
The 'Step Off' board is a little wider and thicker than the 'Tow In', but it is still considerably smaller than a short board. A heavier higher density blank supported by a thicker stringer, gives the board strength and more importantly momentum in heavy conditions. A single concave bottom gives maneuverability, speed, and control in critical waves. The rocker is subtle and superb, and was designed to keep the board moving in the barrel while allowing it to stick to the face of any wave.
This board has been tested by the best 'Step Off' group of surfers on the planet. Rest assured this is what they ride and has probably logged more barrel time in critical waves than any other board on the market. This board is most often ordered as a 4 fin moon tail with very heavy glassing however it is also used as a 3 fin.
Ride this board in surf that is 8 to 20 feet.
