HYDRA
With the Hydra we have updated aspects of the long proven SW-15 model tweaking the rocker, and tweaking the outline to make it more futuristic, more relevant to now. The Hydra has a flatter entry rocker with a straighter outline, wider nose, wider tail to make up for the shorter length of the board. It also has a flatter deck which makes the rails fuller for added momentum over flat sections and creates a more "skatey and floaty" feel. This board goes fast, has incredible drive, and is meant to be easy to ride in small waves. Think of small days with a couple of flat spots where you might do the Huntington Hop, but still want to rip and don't want to ride a fish, and this is where the Hydra comes into play. This board should be ridden 3"to 4" shorter than a performance short board.
