This is the category of Xanadu Surf Designs that WQS and WCT guys order for good waves from shoulder high to well overhead.
HIGH PERFORMANCE STEP UP MODELS
The High Performance Step Up Surfboard Models are super tuned rockets. All the models are built to be high performance boards that will hold in critical situations. These boards are for the days where you want a little bit more than a short board, but don't quite want to ride a semi gun. In this category we basically have taken the short board models and elongated them a hair, while at the same time throwing round pins on them. We have also made some compact little slab hunters like the Nitz and XXX that were designed to get over the ledge early and hold in.
MID WAVE PERFORMANCE MODELS
Defining progression is what Xanadu Surf Designs is all about. Carrying on with this approach to wave riding, Xanadu has created a new category of surfboards to cater to high performance surfing in waves waist to head high. The Mid Wave Performance line consists of highly tuned shapes meant to perform in good conditions in the 3 to 5 foot range. A great board for traveling, the WQS and WSL guys rely on the Mid High Performance series for good conditions up to overhead around the globe.
SMALL WAVE PERFORMANCE MODELS
The Small Wave Performance board design category is what many would consider Xanadu's true calling. These boards are the most advanced small wave crafts out there. They have been refined over and over starting with the Pig 2 over 15 years ago. For generations now these boards have been quiver killers and have redefined small wave free surfing around the globe.
SMALL WAVE SURFBOARD MODELS
Xanadu has built quite the impressive small wave line up. This category features a wide variety of designs, and there is something for everyone. Many of the boards featured in this category come from "fish" style boards but many of them can still go vert and slide all over the place. The boards in this category are meant to suck up the most speed out of small waves, provide a variety of different rides, and be easy to ride on lazy days. In short, these boards turn small days into little pockets of joy.
RETRO SURFBOARD MODELS
From the Wing Twin, to the Barrel Pin, from the retro to the electro, Xanadu does it all, as he actually lived through all of these eras. When you order one of these boards you are actually getting a legit 70's style twin or single fin with Xanadu's modern twist. Easily Xanadu's most under rated category of boards, these things are hot. Open your mind, with a trip on a Xanadu time machine.
The Longboard Surfboard Model fleet at Xanadu is looking solid. Our contemporary mid ranges have been turning heads at Malibu, while our classic noseriding Loggerhead has been spotted foraging along at Cardiff Reef. Here at Xanadu we are stoked on shaping all types of boards, offering the highest quality designs from the past, present, and future!
BIG WAVE BOARD MODELS
This category of boards is for serious surfers that are willing to charge. These boards are made for well overhead waves up to the biggest of Mavericks and Todos Santos days. Whether it's paddling in at big Blacks, charging at the bay, or stepping off into deep Mexican shacks like Xanadu rider, Brian Conley, we have the answer.
GROM SURFBOARD MODELS
Very similar to the High Performance Series, the Grom Models utilize Xanadu's revolutionary foils, rockers, and outlines. These boards are meant for pushing the limits in good conditions worldwide. By working with young groms in California and abroad, Xanadu has formulated a new series of surfboards focused on increasing the performance of younger surfers that have a bag of tricks, solid rail game, and can throw big airs. This is what the NSSA guys order for good waves from shoulder high to well overhead.
